if I try to write the file what's going on ?

if car have tprot can start and you have always mil light on or car don't start and you can brick your ecu
if car don't have tprot there isn't any problem

on dimsport database are only 3 SW for Q5

but, for take no risk go with boot mode, then try with obd writing

Be careful - there have been software updates the last time which only upload different bootloader,.... Means you can have same softwarenumber with or without tprot,....

yes 100% sure ! tp is active since 9/2009 at some cars not all

all cars before 100% obd

EDC17CP14 with tc 1796 tp active So there must be some variation because I have seen 1037504567 with TP Level 11 and 1037507635 with TP Level 2 (OBD)
