Hi all here is the update to the totally great USB HD Loader

Sorry just to say that this is the Channel not the Homebrew loader. In my mind that Channels are better than having to go to the Homebrew channel to run it.

I have now added the USB HD Loader 1.1 to the downloads section for those that don't want the Channel.

there is a wad available for 1.1 but you could make your own with wadder.

just got western digital 250gb working no prob. one thing that was not clear was weather to format drive. didnt do at first and did not work. formated to FAT32 or FATex on win7 and works fine now.

using a 16g pen drive but going to get a 500gb hard drive or more if it works with a bigger drive just waiting to see if it gets updated

can confirm works with 1tb maxtor basics from pc world ?80 ish.no partions, just single drive partion. used wbfs tool to copy all iso's from pc to harddrive. works a treat.

another tip if u want to buythe hd from pc world tell them u can get 1tb hd from tesco for ?70 ish iomega, then ask the bloke to order 1 online for u, he will and then he will pick 1 from the shelf and charge u online price which is ?10 less.

dont think you can after I did some reading, need to extract them to the had - I have WMBSManager - which is windows GUI that will do this, got my extrenal disk drive will give it a go later on and report back

What is does is copy just the game data from the disk or from the ISO. I have managed to copy game data from some backup game disks.

If you use the WFBS tool you can also rebuild an iso from the usb drive. This is a great app and works great.

This looks amazing! I upgraded to Firmware 4.0U yesterday with the hacks still implemented, but I was wondering if I would need to add more hacks or just install the channel without changing nothing?:dontknow:

Whatd does this do guys? Can we now plug HD in to the wii and run games direct from that as opposed to keep putting them on discs???

Im on firmware 3.2e by the way.

Ya you can copy all your games to the HD and run them also you can rip from the wii drive to the hd

You can copy downloaded game iso's to a usb hd drive and play them directly from the drive when you connect it to your wii. You can also copy wii games to the usb hd drive and play them - no need to have the disc in the wii drive.

Search google for Wii Torrents, You can use a USB Hard Drive connected to your Wii or a memory stick to play games you downloaded.

zelda hack doesn't work for version 4.0 i tried it yesterday.
