Hello, I have a same problem two years ago with some car and I supose the car has a problem. Today I remap another 038906019KP and I have the same problem (rewrite the ecu and the glow plug doesn't light and the car doesn't start, I need to reprogram 29F400). Someone know where is the problem?
Thanks a lot, sorry for my english.

On VAG EDC15 I had no problems, only with this 038906019KP. Two years a go, I work on this kind of ecu about 4 days, and the car doesn't start with remap on car, if I reprog 29f400 works well. Yesterday I have the same problem and I don't understand where is the problem. On two different cars, both with 038906019KP, I have the same problem.

Agree 100%. The problem is incorrect checksum. But I can't understand why.
Could somebody explain it? And it possible to solve by boot with correct checksum.
The Ols says that checksum is correct , if you load this bin first. And says incorrect if you load this after VW golf 1.9TDI AXR 100HP 038906019KP 0281011191 SW366912 ORI.zip . What does it mean?
Thanks.

I had exactly problem, the WinOls and the ECM says the file has a good checksums, but when you write on the ecu the car doesn't start and the glow plug doesn't light, after that I need to rewrite 29f400 on the programmer. Someone found the resolve for this problem? Thanks a lot.

Have you tried to flash it on the bench (ecu removed)? I have corrupted these ecu's once or twice (something went wrong while flashing by obd), but I Always have been able to fix it by just flashing it on the bench with MPPS or MAGPRO.

Who have the kwp2000 don't need to take out the flash or do boot . only start the kwp soft , choose the ecu and then open the file you want to program and click on program , maybe need to try more than 1 time , but the kwp can program the ecu again without ID ecu .

Yes I agree, KWP2000 has recovered edc15p before

You're right. But why did it happened? And what I should do next time?

Hello!
After rewriting I can't connect with ECU.
Golf IV motor AXR 1.9 TDI PD EDC15P
I need hellp.
ecu number 038906019KP
VAG EDCSuite15 converts bits in an address 6fff0 and my car doesn't start.

Can I have the checksum calculated?
