Everyone will have their favourite so there will be plenty of answers, but I would advise someone who is close by if possible as that way you can build up a good relationship with them and also it helps with support. E.g. if you lock an ecu it's nice to be able to drive 30mins down the road to get it sorted rather than posting and waiting for days.

The tool your friend uses will depend a lot on which type of vehicles they will be working with. And also how much he wants to spend.

IU recommend a EU Galletto v54 clone, originals cost too much. Or new Kess v2. it has bdm, jtag..tricore.

all depends of the cars that you have to remap ...

best tools are
CMDFLASh obd bdm tricore boot
official Piasini tool
and
Alientech official tools

EVC official tools or FRC

but all d?pends of the car to tune

Thanks mate,
anybody can give me an english site for FG Galleto (orig)?

Most car to tunes are european cars, Porsche, BMW, ROver Benz, etc.

FGTech could be an option - I would first do one deep analyses about the further work like:

Hardware
- 1st budget allocated to hw tools
- 2nd support offered by the developer
- 3rd What brands will you do? Are this equipped all with European ECU manufactured? (Yes/No)
- 4th do you have any - back-up solution in case of emergency?
- 5th do you have any "friend" to support you in case of emergency?

Software
- 1st budget for editing the sw (would you do by your self or not the mod files?)
- 2nd supplier for mod files - how fast is reacting, what background, could offer full support or only files?
- 3rd any other support offered by the supplier.

I hope this helps you!

if you not want to make your own mod i have slave tools so the cost are highly reduced for the genuine tool compared to master if you want then make files the swap to a master is always possible with the diff?rence of the buy price of the tool
