Ford Focus II dashboard problems

Hello!

I have a 2006 Ford Focus II, 1.6 TDCi with intermittent dashboard failure. During driving, the dashboard turns OFF for like 1/10 of a second and then turns ON again, however, acceleration pedal is dead for like 5 seconds on every occurrence of dashboard failure.

Does somebody know what goes bad inside these dashboards? MCU maybe?
