Vectra brake pad warning light

Just done the disks and pads on a 1998 vectra 2.0 sri, how do i get the brake pad warning off the display?, do i need to renew the sensors as these were knackered?, or is there a bodge,, i.e join the wires? the replacement pads didnt come with new sensors,, Help apreciated:hmmmm:
