Searching for a dump of the CEM from a car with HID 1999-2004, can somebody help?

You want to replace halogen lamps with OEM HID?

No need for REM software. Just have to connect sensor to REM wiring (cars with Four-C it goes to SUM wiring) and change configuration in CEM.

Thanks for the info, change config is clear :) , do you have the value for HID ? I've found nothing about HID headlamps in MY 2001, but think it will work because Volvo installed the wiring harness for the height sensor. So i only need a dump of a CEM with HID headlights, or a dump of the catconfig would be enough...

gives carconfig as answer on id 00800003

To send carconfig you have to know PIN code also.

You can read without PIN but not write. I don't know command to program over CAN.

What tool (hardware and software) use to send can frame in Volvo?

Took Arduino UNO and Sparkfun CAN-BUS shield with Canhacker (software) to do this, but there are serval options, like Chipkit max 32 with network shield or lawicel CANUSB interface with busmaster (software).

Sorry for bringing up an old thread, but I have a 04 xc70 where I installed original volvo xenon headlamps, wiringharness and the levelling sensor on the rear axle.

The rem are reading the sensor perfectly, and it also accepted the software.

Anybody know how to get the cem to get the signal from rem and how to get the correct cables to send this signal to the motors?
