It doen't work well.
It doesn't cover the models listed.
Its a true code rip off, using the advertising blurb from truecode site but its a very old software version so the blurb is wrong for the software version supplied.
Hence it doesn't cover the range listed.
You can't upgrade but its cheap. I bought one to add Espace ph2 to my old explorer and it doesn't do it although it says it does.
Site says its a .co.uk but it comes from China. When I complained they said they had had a few complaits, send it back for a refund.
No refund of potage in either direction ment I was getting very little back. The distance selling regulations (or any regulatons for that matter ) don't seem enforcable to the Chineese seller.

Renault Truecode works, Ford Truecode Does not work progress bar stops half way through programming,(2006 Focus) it may work on timed access but not tried.and the incode calculator gives the wrong incode ,and if you put the same outcode in every time it gives a different incode everytime
Comes with 2 versions V3.2.7 for Ford & Reanult and v2.3.1 for Remault & Nissan
You can download software from here but you need a dongle

The FNR 4in1 is half the price of the Chinese Ford F-Truecode this has a different style dongle, this may work on fords as its more expensive.

When you go to add a spare card to customers car and it erases but doesn't program, wait to see the customers reply when you tell him the same, luckily I had genuine to bail me out....

nissan is apparently crap on genuine one.
my friend tried to code quaskai and it failed.
with his experience with ford he requested money back and guess what...
chris said forget about it. as far as im aware we are in eu and you can return an item within 7 days without a reason or within 30 days if the item doesnt work as it should..... and it doesnt work as it should.

Genuine TrueCode in my experience is very good i have truecode full including new nissan update , not tried on qashqai as yet but did nissan navara D22 pick up 2007 all keys lost in seconds. P&D dont get too excited m8, as your clone wont have new NTC2 update, but original does work excellent on Micra K12 mechanical key which your clone looks like it has, fingers crossed. Ford truecode is meant to be working great with new update v4.06, i myself have yet to try it, as i use other tools for ford at the moment.
And we all know that genuine renault truecode is one of the best on the market.

I doubt very much that it failed, more likely it had continetal bcm (which uses different code), if you enter the code manually it will work, this information is freely available on his website so i guess your friend didn't research far enough, I personally know over 100 locksmith's using it with no issues.
