Hi all... new to the forum.

VW Polo T reg (1999)... Had the battery replaced a month ago... because it was leaking...

And now the brand new one is leaking....

Something is causing the battery acid to be 'sucked' out of the battery.... Any ideas.

Thanks in advance

It'll be because it's overcharging, most probably need a new alternator.

anything more than 15.6v on battery when running is sure thing alternator is charging too high ie regulator has stopped functioning and just churning out all dc volts possible?
