Does anyone recognize this CPU on Denso ECU from Corolla Verso 1CD-FTV engine?
Its 160 pin CPU/MCU .. in other Denso ECUs I've seen 120 pin CPUs209178

Most likely a 68HC916 variant.

As far as I know Piasini can't flash any Toyota Denso ecu.

Most likely a 68HC916 variant.
My thought too, but looking at the pins and signals it does not add up, at least looking at the Xtal and GND pins. But I'll need to test with the multimeter .. I looked at MC68HC16Y1, MC68HC16Y3 and MC68HC16Y5 (the 916 variant has the same pinout IMO).

oh, and another thing, according to the Corolla Verso SIL 2004, the CPU for the 1CD-FTV engine ECU is supposed to be 32-bit ?! The above mentioned HCs are all 16-bit, IIRC

32Bit Denso has SH705x Renesas processor imo, so it looks this is still 16bit.
Maybe also possible is MC6833x also 16bit.

You are right, the chip does not look 32-bit, IMO there are to few data/address lines to be 32-bit.
It is not SH705x since there is no 160 pin package of SH705x.
Looking at the MC68336/376 there is a 160 pin device, but the pinout does not match my device.
I've checked several CPU/MCUs from freescale, renesas, fujitsu, nec to find matching GND,Vdd and XTAL pins and I have not find the match yet :(
