Hi Guys,
I have an old Opel Frontera here with a faulty dash. At first I had to switch on the lights to make the display and the tachometer work, but since I've resoldered a few parts on the PCB all of the needles work like they should.
BUT! They work well for a few starts, then all of a sudden they start going up after every start. So for example the car is at idle, at 850rpm, I turn the engine OFF, the needle stays at 850rpm, and at the next start it goes up to 1700rpm. (so it does not go back to the 0 position)
The same applies to all needles!
What can be the problem in this case? I'll try to resolder the whole PCB but I doubt it will cure the problem :(
