removing old apple id

trying to remove a old apple id off my sons ipod touch but it wont let me create a new one, and he doesnt know the password for the old one typical, some one help before i smash it:blue::blue:

Book an appointment in your local apple Genius Bar- they will sort it out for you. My mate had the same problem and apple went out their way to get him sorted. Their customer service is legendary.
