vw caddy 1.9 2001

Hi all, Have a 2001 caddy 1.9 that starts ok but wiil not rev up when accelerator is pressed. It is not the peddle & Ecu is 038 906 018FK, Any help or advice, regards P.

If Ecu is mounted under scuttle panel , they are usually water damaged inside . Easy to open and see problem :-)

or......is it a ex british gas van with spped limiter fitted.....these are a limiter thats fitted to the acc pedal wiring...plug and play thing...worth a check...
