Virgin Media today launched an exciting free new service for its home broadband customers, giving them the ability to store and share photos online, get free photo prints for up to a year*, and backup and remotely access important documents.

The new service, called V Stuff, forms part of a range of enhancements for Virgin Media home broadband customers, managed through a brand new customer control centre at my.virginmedia.com.

One of the highlights of the new V Stuff service is the ability to get high quality digital photo printing free for a whole year*. By uploading photos to the V Stuff online storage area, customers can create their own albums to share precious moments with family and friends. With the growth of digital photography, Virgin Media customers have the perfect way to capture, secure and share all those memorable moments with their loved ones.

Another key feature of V Stuff is the ability to safely backup important documents including home videos, and other media to a secure online storage area. Once set up, V Stuff automatically backs up new additions to folders and any changes to existing documents, giving customers peace of mind that all their valuable files are safe and secure**. Using a simple to use web-based interface, Virgin Media home broadband users will have the flexibility and freedom to be able to remotely access their files from work, a friend?s house, or any other computer on the internet.

Jon James, director of broadband at Virgin Media said ?Despite being the UK?s fastest broadband provider, we know that the internet is not just about speed. With the ability to store and share an unlimited number of photos and files online, and the unique facility to choose and print hundreds of photos for free, we?re going way beyond our customers? expectations. Our great new V Stuff service is the perfect broadband companion to enrich our customers? lives.?

Customers will be able to access V Stuff through the new my.virginmedia.com customer zone. The new website, launched with a refreshed new look and feel, gives customers a great way to manage all aspects of their accounts, including simplifying access to ebilling, setting up their free PCguard internet security, centralising help and support information, and providing easy access to the Virgin Media webmail service.
