Hello,

I have a DreamBox DM800 HD PVR.
If I start my Dreambox he gives this to my:

Sim201 team
* 84B
ww.dm800sim2.com
dhcp .....
*** STOP ***

But if I put my networkcable in my DreamBox , dhcp.... changes to the IP address of my DreamBox.

I do everything. Image flashing, bootloader. Everything. But it does not help.
And he will not boot>

What should I do?:grey::grey::grey:

You need to take the cover off your dreambox and access the sim there. All images that say sim 2.01 or sim 2.10 are fine just avoid any images that have Ferrari tagged to them, that's a different sim and will semi brick the box. You will get No Ca Found, Andy.

Can you say it in steps how to do that. That is better.

But when i insert my new sim it gives the same what my old sim gives:

When this happens is the Ethernet cable in the back of the box? Andy.

No

if i plug my ethernetcable to the dreambox , dhcp changes to IP address of my dreambox.

Maybe i should flash bootloader then image and then also bootloader???

I'm guessing the present image isn't loading? Try a fresh image of choice, most images have bootloader built in. I'm guessing you know how to flash web browser method? Andy.

That's what I was trying to get at. Has he actually tried to flash an image to the box and then what happens? Andy.

Tick the button in browser to reboot when flashing completes

Yes southpaw you are right.

Even though I put a new SIM card (2.10) in it, it fails to boot and only loads to "stop " stage.
What is the problem.?

normally when you put a new sim in, you would flash a image for sim 2.10 when that is done do not reboot, switch off the box unplug it and then put your new sim in and then reboot the box

make sure the "on" power switch is not jammed or wedged in as this will give same symptoms with the box not booting, if all is well with the switch, then you could try and flash it with a image that's small in memory size, openpli or newnigma are small (44mb) , make sure you tick the button on web flashing interface to "reboot when complete". lastly if that don't work you can try with dreamup or optiflasher, both have an option to "recover bad sectors" tick it, you will need a null modem cable for this method. I am presuming the sim is not the issue as your box is getting as far as the web flashing interface, if it was sim related you would get other symptoms like "ca error", hopefully you somehow manage to get it going, report back how you get on please
