Hello, and greetings to everyone in this great forum. I have been working for some time on a vw scirocco 1.4tsi, with med17.5.5 ecu.I manage to work in the instrument cluster, but when I tryed to work in the ecu, things changed. I am somehow new at this field and after some talk with some tuners, I decided to buy the byteshooter. I manage to read some ifo and pack files but as it comes to read the pass, I come to dead in.I bought also the med17 adapter byteshooter gives, but still nothing.Can someone help me out in this?The way I see my problem is that I don't properly connect the med17 adapter for reading that kind of ecu.Maybe some photos and wiring diagrams will solve my problem. Thanks in advance.

yes, but it's not enough, or maybe not for my ecu model.this ecu has tricore sac-tc1766 processor inside,not 1796 as described in forum.and something else: it has the program of another ecu inside, the one with the 160hp.the numbers of my ecu indicates that it is for 120hp.does that gives you something?
