Hello again,

I've been trying to test out my BDM function, however when I press connect, the relay ticks, then an error message comes up saying "error micro not supported"?

Anyone any ideas how to fix this?

Make sure you got your pins on the pads & the correct pads on ECU,,,,

I'm fairly sure I have, it doesn't even seem to try. Ever had this error before? Just pretty much immediately comes up with error.

I sent you a pm btw!

I have FGtech, one ribbon cable coming from FGTech to the power board, then another ribbon cable coming from power board to BDM adapter. Then serial cable coming from other side of FGTech and powering the board with the ribbon cables. I have checked there is power getting to the middle board also. Then I have one power supply connected directly to the FGTech slot.

Using adapters and middle adapter had 12v yes, confirmed with a meter at the middle board and also 2 pins on the adapter had 12v.

Yes I saw this but was hoping it wouldnt be that. I have bought a china clone from a guy in the UK who was selling it, will be here tomorrow so will test that BDM function.

l killed a edc16c9 the other day just to see if it can be recovered . its only an old one from scrapyard , fgtech is easy to cock up if you have left power on and moved pins around , l will try and recover with xprog this week as l have full backup read, might try bdm100 first tomorrow , fgtech and ktag show .ERROR MICRO NOT SUPPORTED
