Hi guys is it east to extract the pin from dash or vin on a vectra c

p.s i have orig tech 2 but dont think this can pull the pin out can it ?
or security code for programming and resetting modules etc

Pin from dash mate, chip is just behind the mileage LCD, post dump, tech not pull pin

Is it easy to find the pin in the dump ???
if so where is it located in the dump ?
I have lots of vectra dumps so could have a peek n see

Yes guys i know wat the dash has ive done a fair few

im asking is it easy to extract the pin or is it encrypted and your using software to extract the pin

Dave, to paraphrase some knowledgeable guys here,brain.exe is the best software to use.

If you hit the Ascii,it'll be fairly apparent(Again,I stand to be corrected on this one).

$1e9 jumps to mind.

Carprog genuine (CAN & K-line) or clone (only k-line), SMOK tool, AVDI tool,...maybe anothers.

hi guys ok so i pulled a few dumps down from here

looking at the dump in my avdi it does let me check for pin

i see we are byte swapped yeah :)

so after a byte swap i believe were at the highlighted section here on my pic

and this is our pin code ;)
