Hi Guys I am having problems with a Porsche 996 911 - it used to only start if we clear fault codes on ECM (engine blocked by immobiliser) - after clearing DTC it would start. It has now stopped starting at all. I have READ 24c04 and WRITE to a new chip incase it was the problem. Can anyone please help with Immo OFF solution as I really cannot find one. I have attached the original dump from 24c04. Thanks guys

What are the fault code's in the Alarm/WFS unit?
Also there is no WFS code in your file. Did you try to virgin it?

Hi thanks for the reply, no I did not try to virgin - I only copied dump from original 24c04 and write to a new 24c04

no fault codes in alarm/wfs - only P1571 immobilizer - in engine ecu

thanks

Ok part of the Immo code is missing in your dump, so read the 93LC66 in the alarm unit or ask dealer for the immo activation code.

Send you PM, the checksum is the hard part.
I know where it is and also 2'complement but I still don't know if it is a CRC or just 16bit checksum and which adress are calculated.

Hi Easytech once again I really thank you for looking at this for me, I assume there is no actual immo off solution for this, I don't have a PIWIS tester. if you have any developments or any solution I can try please feel free to contact me - Thanks
