View Full Version : what software chose for map editing (orginal)?

Hello all

I think to buy orginall software for editing maps but i dont know which chose ?
I thinkink about ECM Titanium or winols but:
ECM Titanium :
you need to pay subscription
in DK i read the software is not so good to search maps
WinOls
In some forums have also bad opinion.

So I wish to know positive and negative things for this software. or maybe someone can advice other software ?

Which forums give a bad review on WinOls? My opinion is Winols if a far better and more powerful package.

Agree with bondiblu.

Winols is really nice. Yes you need to be good at finding maps but isn't that what learning is all about?

i think you need to think in SWIFTEC too
its very better than ECM, good support, have to download map pack, and have much functions that winols dont have

Agree with you, it's much better then ECM and so on...
WinOls is software for "free editing" and without map packs or damos isn't usable for beginners...
Additionally, EVC not sell their product on not-certificated tuning shops...

Would like to have a go of swiftech but theirs no demo's :(

How good is the map detection/map packs?

Swiftec its like ecm, the best software its Winols and you cant compare to ecm or swiftec.

ORIGINAL WINOLS i think its best. Not good for beginners but if you are a beginner if you cannot put the effort into trying to find and assemble mappacks and take months to learn it then how much effort will you put into tuning .

Buy winols , learn the art of ecu assembly, go months without sleeping , buy a dyno and succeed :)
