This solution does not appear to be working. Car consumption varies a lot and also DTC for fuel mixture was set.

Could somebody provide proper solution? Thanks!

This solution works 100%!
In the engine is another the problem is not related to Nox.
Because of the Nox sensor - will never "DTC for fuel mixture"

Unfortunately, you are mistaken.
17584 - P1176 Bank-1: O2 (Lambda) Correction Behind Catalyst, Control Limit Reached
Now maybe the words "fuel mixture" are not used, but it does mean the mixture is out of range.

I think the code was P2096.

I see. The question is - when you disable NOX sensor, does that also disable oxygen sensor after cat (O2 sensor 2) or not?

My mistake. Looked at P2069 in stead of P2096.

Nope, you are looking at the wrong code. P2*** are manufacturer-specific codes.

It goes something like this:

Post catalyst oxygen lambda sensor correction bank1 , P2096

This error is not related to Nox sensor.
This error indicates a problem with the catalyst. Or oxygen sensors.

can not simply turn off the oxygen sensor after cat.
It is also necessary to disable the control and heating of the catalyst, and more.
But this can be done

I understand, but as far as I know, NOX sensor and oxygen sensor after CAT are incorporated in same sensor, thats why it has 6 wires + dedicated control unit. Am I right?

No. You are not right

P2*** are manufacturer-specific codes.
I am afraid not. P2*** codes are standardized since 2002 - so more than 10 years ago now.

Yes, you are right. The basis of an NOX-sensor is a wideband Oxygen sensor, which can be used to monitor the catalyst.
VW/Audi do use the NOX-sensor as a rear Oxygen sensor in case the engine has one exhaust bank (1 cat only).

True, in this case you have wrong list of those, since P2096 has nothing to do with "fuel sensor". Google it.

Catalyst is 100% OK, since car has low mileage (about 100000 km) and has also passed the MOT less than 2 months ago (a few days after I got the corrected file from you).

Wideband sensors on VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda petrol engines are mounted before catalyst and they have 5 wires.

Thanks, will try it!

Though I still don't know what is wrong. I checked the Autodata for wiring, and the car has only 1 wideband lambda sensor (before CAT) and 1 NOX sensor with 2 wires (after CAT). There is no lambda sensor after CAT.

That's right. But you are missing the point.
A Nox-sensor is partly the same as a wideband Oxygen sensor, but can do more.

Hi,
dimask1971
Do you have software for the VW Touran 1T1 1.6 FSI with deactivated NoX Sensor? my father still has a problem with him and NOX is very expensive, so I would like to deactivate him.
You could help me?

If this software from VW Golf V fits, please send me the archive password
thx
