Hi guys

Can anyone tell me if the login code is stored in the 95160 eeprom in this MED 9.1 ecu or is it in the flash?
I have attached the 95160 dump in case anyone can help.

Many thanks in advance.

Thanks pinn and quertyuiop12 for your rapid response. The full story with this vehicle (which is my own and not a customers to make it worse!) is as follows, vehicle suddenly refused to start, carried out diagnostics and found comms issues with original ecu, located second hand unit with all matching numbers. Vehicle now comms ok, read original pcm eeprom 95160 and transfered into second hand unit but wont start. I think there is something in the flash which would have to be changed as well? If i have the pin from original and used ecu change can i adapt it using vagcom? I have listed the original ecu eeprom file just incase someone can give me the code and confirm the proceedure.

Many thanks in advance

Hi all, many thanks to Pinn for your support. I have today tried the login codes you supplied for both the original (10442) and the replacement (40043) and neither are accepted. Do you have any further ideas or could anyone confirm codes are correct please.

Thanks in advance

Thanks raedareeg for your response, sorry about the time!! i would luv to immo off this ecu but i think some changes maybe required in the flash as well as 95160 eeprom. Should the channel 50 adaption work on this vehicle?

many thanks

To the original thread starter: take full bdm backup of your ecu and flash it to the spare one, full i mean, flash and eep from original to spare, and it should start as is.
