Hi Guys,

I would like to write a tuned dump back onto an AB28F200B5B Intel flash memory found in a Visteon ECU of a 2003 Mondeo 2.0 16V TDCI.

My Willem read out the dump correctly, but it can not erase the flash nor write it!

I've seen a few posts about this exact flash, and some mentioned the Willem needs a bit different setting, but none of the posts say what is the exact solution.

See here:

But none of them give the solution :(

Any kind of info about this?

Regards,

Tibor

Okay, found the solution!

For regular flash memories I have to write it this way:

http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q26/VTS_Tibi/Munkak/IMG_20130813_162327.jpg (http://s132.photobucket.com/user/VTS_Tibi/media/Munkak/IMG_20130813_162327.jpg.html)

But for an AB28F200B5B I have to use a jumper:

http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q26/VTS_Tibi/Munkak/IMG_20130813_162335.jpg (http://s132.photobucket.com/user/VTS_Tibi/media/Munkak/IMG_20130813_162335.jpg.html)

And it reads/erases/writes the flash memory just how it should!

hope it will help others in the future! ;)
