Hi

Can somebody help me with virgin ecu in:
ML400 CDI 2002 year
insaide is:
Temic CRV1.0
A 628 153 08 79
98080 eeprom

I already try "autosync" solution making "00" in 0x20-0xDE area, car crank two times and nothing more, when i try to sync by das, tell me that ecu is "not initialized" and must be changed.

I very thankful for help in this case.

When I put orginal eeprom and look on measure values in das i see "ecu intialized: yes". In measures i see that only immo is problem.

Still no solution.

Hello, I have a big problem with the W163 ML400.
ECU error message: 2001 Check component N3 / 9 (CDI control unit) Switching power supply error. (Emergency) I changed all capacitors.
The mistake does not go away. Have then bought a used ECU on Ebay. With DAS, I can read the data from the old ECU and write it into the new ECU. Miles are displayed, but car does not start. Maybe someone can help me. Maybe Eeprom from the old to the new solder?

Thanks for the answer.
The part number is the same. Maybe you have a picture where the ICs are on the board?

Hello, thanks for the help.
I had a little time last night to study the ECU. 17 pieces of N-Channel Mosfet (SUB70N06-14) are installed on the ECU. One of them had a short circuit across all three (S, G, D) connections. Due to the short circuit, the supply voltage was pulled down. Exchange type would be
STB60NF06LT4. After I had soldered the new Mosfet, the ECU was alarm-free. I hope it may help someone before you have to swap the whole control unit.
