12 plate mini and dp3

has anybody done a 12 plate mini with dp3 will the cas go with obd

It will say probably cas 4 , its not its still a cas3 but you have to strip out , 30 minute job

Do you have the contact points also can I use the dp3 to do it direct with one of the supplied leads

Nope it's solder job unless you have a DIY cas connector plug

Its a cas3+ same as 3/5/6 series BMW

you have to remove the dashplate and underneed you find the cas unit.
dont know if possible with diaprog3. i would say just try and see if work or not.

What year is 12 plate ?
I did a late 2013 mini cas 3+ by diag.

Try by diag with diagprog 3 and digiwigi no joi. So dashboard are out now

Never had anything over 2011 go diag bmw automatically do security update to stop theft of cars through obd which also stops programming of miles in cas through obd also some older cars which have been for a service etc at dealers get this update automatically had a 2008 5 series today wouldnt go asked customer and car was serviced at dealer last year

dosnt matter it will not go wither way if it has the security update nothing will work you will have as much luck as trying fiat menu
