King of Sat gives all frequencies (10 in all) for both Standard and HD channels on BT1 & BT2.
You need to read deeper into it instead of just scrolling to the firs one.

What does your blind scan come up with?
KOS says that BT Sport 1&2 are both on 11585 H & so does my blind scan.

So why is king of sat saying 11585 / H / 29500,surely 11584 / H / 29264 these are no where near to each other

Because frequencies spread either side.
I'm no radio expert but I've noticed that when your on a radio station the station still plays when you move slightly off the frequency.

But this channel struggles on the blind scan of 11584 etc... I wouldn't mind so much, but the list is from sattv5

Its called LNB drift and all LNB's should compensate for this in normal working operation as you discovered by moving the frequency and so the LNB pulls back to compensate for the slight loss, Thats why some people report TP's as one digit out.

As mentioned above, 1 digit out on the frequency reading is nothing to worry about, but I'm more concerned about the symbol rate. It should be 29500. I don't know why yours is showing 29264. The symbol rate should be picked up automatically when you scan that transponder.
What box are you using?
In your TP list, are there any other transponders with different symbol rates compared to those shown on KOS? (e.g. some other transponders with 29500 sym rates are 11720H, 11758H, 11798H).
Do you receive BT Sports HD at all, or do you get "scrambled" or "no sig" messages?
