If you tried new batteries then its best to get a new remote (about 12quid). i have had to get a couple and have read threads where others have had same probs, it seems that they do go wrong. got mine from tailormadecircuits just email him and he.ll sort you one

I know you said it worked on another box but you also said it works sometimes on your box so sounds as though its an intrermittant problem with the remote. have you tried your mates remote on your box? has your box or remote been dropped affecting the angle of the led on either? The green light is not the light that does the work so this may be working but not the led. just to check your remote has a good led get a camera phone put it on camera and hold it over the led on the end of remote press any button on remote and you will see the led flash if its hit and miss then get a new remote

lol thats the second time you posted that m8 in this thread, hope it stays working for you tho, dont count your chickens just yet. It still seems to be an intermittant fault with your remote.
