Just posted this in the sticky but hoping it will get seenon the main page....

Hi guys,

Ive read all 29 pages and this is where I am at...

I had a dead skyboxf3 (not switching on,no lights, nada). I downloaded the Erom upgrade 8mflash and ran the Eromupgrade program and used a frimware that looks the same as the other box I got at the same time. The program ran through well but now the box is just on constant loop. I'm close but not quite over the line.

Any suggestions?

Would you say that is the nearest firmware?

Remove the cable connected to your box from the lnb just in case theres a short and see if the box loads as that can sometimes cause looping

How to Dump existing firmware

Press menu on the remote > Dump by USB>Start
Place a tick next to 3601HD_Backup.abs & System Settings
Press the yellow button to Dump
When it's finished you will have a file named 3601HD_Backup.abs on your memory stick
flash that to your non working box and it will then be identical to your working box (Channel list settings etc.)

Trying it now. I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks.

Glad it worked for you mate, now make sure you keep your backup safe just in case it's ever need for future use. :joyous:

Dump it from the other box onto memory stick.

Ignore this.

If I had read all the thread I would have seen its sorted.
