hi

I know this has been discussed around the forum...

my problem is that after a key for battery replacement the car does not start anymore...
the central looking also stopped working.

the last one I got it resolved by resync the key, so the central looking is know working ok, but the immo light still blinking fast when the ignition is turned on,
and no firing.

Some snapshots from the ecu status, immo and engine:

A on the immo ecu says "key inserted - no" is correct to say is the key to blame?
If I insert a key from another car should the key be detected? (I know it wont start the car, but I could rule out the immo antenna out of the equation...)

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks

hi
When you're looking for some help write all the details about the car and ecu because wasting time
which ecu do you have sirius 32N? give details ecu,motor....!
The problem is most likely in the key, if the second key also acts then related to immo!
simplest immo off or soldered key
regards

Hi

Thank you and sorry for the lack of information...
The top one is the uhc, the bottom the engine ecu...

215231

the engine is a 1.4

how easy is to remove immo on this ecu?
I have xprog and some other readers to dump the ecu...

Also I don't have a second key... on this clios phase 1 is possible to reprogram used keys?

I the problem was indeed the key, but not just!
I have re-soldered the key, and the key was then detected on the ignition, but was still not able to start the car...
As the uhc was out of the car I take the opportunity to dump and retrieve the pin code, so later I have reprogrammed the key... and voil?...

Engine is running...

I still not know if on this phase 1 clio is possible to reprogram used keys... ?

thank you icar for your input!

All Clio Mk2 Ph1 & Kangoo Mk1 Ph1 have this fault with the key at some point, always best to copy onto a T5/7931 Transponder for a spare, you can cut out coil a replace with Carbon Transponder.

It is possible to reuse second hand keys, but is not straight forward,Zed Bull has the function as pictured.
