How to make a EEPROM dump virgin

Can anybody tell me how to make an EEProm dump virgin for Citroen xsara BSI 95160 corrctlly. I have in the attached image changed all to FFs with Hex Workshop . Is it the correct way to do it?

This is correct, it's the usual way to set an EEPROM to factory default. I'm not sure if this will work for the Xsara instrument cluster. Probably cluster processor needs some content to work on.

Hi thank you for your reply. I could see in some of the files in forum that virgine files have some lines in the start that are not FFs.
