Found 97086 on the backside. Can someone pls tell me how to read this eeprom? Do not see 35080 anywhere.

I tried reading it as a 35080 but didn't get a any reads, so I figured maybe not a 35080

i'll try again with my tacho universal

i wouldnt try again , put it all back together ring some one that has a idea , chip wont be a 25080 it will be DO80DOWQ

backside setup looks identical to the pic ***tak posted though

you must be very brave to use Tacho Universal to work this particular one

Remove chip clean it with isopropil or solvent, make sure you have a spare chip or the right tool to erase 35080

I want to let you all know everything worked out, thanks for your help. I finally got tacho to read. I used a spare ver3 35080 from a bad 3 series cluster and programmed it instead.
