Hello,

Today I tried to change the speed limiter from 100km/h to 90km/h on a:
2008 Citroen Jumper 3.0HDi EDC16C39

In eeprom changed E80, EA0 and EC0 from 10000 to 9000, flashed it back with bdm. The car has internal ecu fault and is in limp mode. Does eeprom need any checksumn or did I do something wrong? I have attached original and modified eeprom.

Thanks for any help

Of course eeprom has checksum

I did checksum with bdm, but abviously it didn't help. What tool corrects eeprom checksumn?

Lexia says configuration not possible - speed limiter is set at factory. I'll try morgano solution in a few hours :)

spped limit in flash is 160km/h so the limiter is in eeprom

Back with results. Morgano file worked, no ecu errors and lower speed limit. Although in eeprom the speed limit was set from 100 to 90, the chronograph was still giving overspeed errors because the van could do 92-93km/h. I set the speed limited to 88 (like in some factory files) - again overspeed errors with 91km/h actual. Then I set it at 86 and the chronograph now shows 89km/h and can get the stupid certificate :)

There is another speed limiter in flash, near to the speed limiter switch, so no need to open ecu afterall... Assitutto - in flash speed limiter was set at 300km/h in two places, both near the limiter off switch.
