has anyone here used acetone as a fuel treatment? been reading and experimenting with it. it apears to have no long term effects on engine life. running in 6 customer vehicles and made mpg improvement in all trucks.best was .7 mpg improvement. that was 07 kw with egr and dpf delete with 625 hp program. worst was acert cat at .3 mpg differance.
acetone changes the surface tension of fuel to atomize better and burn more eficiant. running at 2 oz per 10 gal fuel. adding at every fill

Hello!

I'd never use acetone in any car.
Maybe in short term using, it wouldn't hurt so bad, but for longer time, it will damage the fuel lines, and AC pump, that's for sure.
So if it count, just leave this idea.

Cheers :)

read about people testing for 10-15 years and have found bad effects to any engine parts. ive been experimenting for a while now and everyone very happy.
