KTM bike dash B298A

this mini dashboard is from
M.A.E. elettronica and have hours and khm
possible change both manual or from dump from pic16LF87 ?

Hi, you must change it from dump ... I always desolder PIC from pcb and put it in willem programer ... but maybe it is possible to read it in circuit I dont know ... then change km location shown in picture ... I dont know the right calculation because if you change just this adress you will get 0km and 0h ... maybe there is a crc I dont know ... I did this dash a few times but always get 0km 0h after first start

your dump is from 0Khm and 0hours ?
i read pic on circuit from ICSP but can't undestud how calculate khms and hours :-(
only solution is zero or default ?

Hi, 0D A0 = 3488km ... the location for hurs I don't know ... but the km must have CRC because every think you will write on that address you will get default 0km and 0h

CKS is easy, but anyway you will always end with 0 km and mh.
But on first start up you can set the mileage with buttons (just once).
So you will have mileage you want and zero mh.
And of course in circuit.

i tried pipina method & all goes zeros :-(
so i leave as it.

Zeros are OK.
You can do whatever you want and end is the same.
With just reading you will end with zeros.
But as I stated before you can adjust milege with buttons (initial startup).
