Vw bora 1.6 16v checksum

Hello guys,i have buy one chip 29f400 tunned for my vw bora 1.6 16v but i put in car and car not working,i guess checksum is not correct because the letters at the end of ecu reference are not the same.same ecu part but not the letters.my question is,is it possible to correct the checksum?i have original dump and mod.
