View Full Version : How to disable the stupid Firefox delay when installing extensions

As you know when you are installing extensions for firefox, you have that wait thing. This "wait thing" is put up so malware doesn't install on your computer when you don't know. But if you think you are a safe surfer then you can do the following:

On Firefox enter "about:config" W/O Quotes
then you see a bar at the top which says filter: in that filter place enter
"security.dialog_enable_delay"
double click the only option there and a mini windows should pop up, type 0 for the integer and your set. Restart firefox and experience no waiting times.

Im having a smiliar problem at the min...im trying to load the plugins n they keep failing. only means i gotta do it manually but still a problem. and normally firefox works fine
