Volvo V50 non starter

Hi to all.
Have a 2006 Volvo V50 2.0 Diesel. Cus battery died and roadside assist conected battery leads to the Volvo while his Transit was running. Cus described hearing a loud "crack" noise, now we have no crank. Have tested battery and advise cus to replace as it wont hold a charge properly. Have fully scaned with Autocom 2013 here is list of faults.

Anyone advise which direction to go in ? Is ECU dead or am i going in the wrong direction.

check alternator fuse and hell all fuses! there is no reason why 14 v should do that or whatever the truck was generating...by the faults he put the terminals reverted so most componenets that have diods are burnt! so alternator , and ecu...may be gone. hopefully some fuse may have saved u!

Clear fault codes if C326 come back you have to synchro immo.

Cleared all codes , they clear then turn key to crank no crank and they all return. Thanks for link.

you dont get signal from most basci starting components.. waht does that tell u? if ecu isnt receiving signals? something gone bad in ecu! not toally as you at least can diagnoze.
check all fuses as i told u. also open ecu and see damaged(burned ) visually for components

Disconnect generator sometimes makes shortcut to ground. It can be problem with synchro immo but not only because all fault codes return. Check all power suply to ECM and ground connections, wiring,relays.

All fuses are ok.

Removed ECU opened there is no sign of any burned componants. Have found and read eeprom 95320 would it help if i uploaded it ?

Hello Rocket .... Tell me something ... If you put key in to lock do you hear "ziiip" and steering wheel unlocks ?
And when you turn key ... do you get ignition lights ?
Volvo's V50 have illnes that start lock die .... Please check and report.

Sir. Yes steering lock comes off and all ignition lights come on. Daytime running lights come on as well. When you crank ignition lights and daytime running lights go off and when you release they return ???

Ok steering lock work ..... Is it possible that is something wrong with your starter ?

Sir. Good point, however i have removed relay and used a relay swith and cranked the vehicle over and still didnt start.

But i have just noticed that if you scroll through the messages on the dashboard there is one that says immobiliser!!

Post dump 95320 it could help.

ok ... so i think you have problems with CEM ..... or maybe with key ..... please check key if everything is allright with it ... Try use spare one. If this dont work .... i think there is a problem with CEM ....

Dump 95320 not ok. You need synchro immo that i am sure , but if all fault codes return i do not know is it only one problem in this car.
