dsi cant get internet to get r4 working

hi all ive a r4 which is a few years old but did work at the time as you didn't need the internet to sort it & get games but has now stopped. So I tried to put the new firmware update on but to get it going you need the internet on your dsi but mine won't connect to the internet even though ive got 3 dsi . Any ideas you guys plz

Your R4 card can use several years, it is really very great.

from your message, you haven't updated your DSi for several years, right?
And now, you have updated your R4 card, and can't work.

Normally, the R4 card need upgrade to work with newest DSi firmware ,
when update successfully, they still can work with the lower version.

So, i think you haven't updated the R4i card successfully.
As i know, some R4i card update need NDSL not update directly by DSi.
