When I use just a pcf7936 have to precode but I have the one before the F series. Soft about 2 years old now. Do not have balls to try newest soft, 99% ruined most likely (I would kill them).

Adjustment of mileage and maintenance intervals
Change/Adjust FA code (currently in test mode)
Read/Write RAM/FLASH/EEPROM *
Read/Write ISN (marriage CAS and DME/DDE) *
ELV Reset (steering wheel lock)
Key read/write via OBD2 in CAS1, CAS2, CAS3, CAS3+ * (even after update by ISTA/P version 38!!!)
Learning key or transponder directly in the ignition coil
Lost keys blocking/unblocking

I think you can also add using hitag but i dont think neccessary.

for what purpose u want to use them ? multi tool is for key programming only
explorer key programming and coding , FVDI is for scanning programming coding and key programming ...
i would suggest original explorer if u want a reliable tool

In fact I am not planning to pay original price and I need it for key coding and ecu matching , I read that these tools can do some job so was wondering which of the three I mentioned is worth buying since they are same price range
