Hi DK,i need help with odometer for cadillac cts 2008 i try to write bin file to 93c86 i modified with tachosoft and after i check on car odometer show 999999km and i rewrite original bin file and return to 136390km for me i need 119000km i will appreciate if someone can check for me (check attachments),thanks.
Car type: Cadillac CTS - 93c86 - 2008-2009 years
The mileage is stored in the next lines:
0040: xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx E7 6D
0050: FF xx E7 6D FF xx E7 6D FF xx xx xx xx xx xx xx
where the next bytes:
E7 6D FF - is a mileage
223505

Hi,thanks to coelhone i try your file when i did write to 93c86 the writing process stop to 37 percent strange,but when i try with original file not modified writing ok,i think than the digit is not at good place like on tachosoft 23.1 or tachosoft have error calculation,if someone had this problem let me know,thanks.

Hi,i have elprosys diagprogIII,it's the first time than i saw that,can be this cluster have writing protection for lower down writing mileage,i go try with carprog and after that i let you know if is ok but i check your work and i see than you have swap bits because on original bin file at this address bits is swap too if i check with tachosoft,what calculator do you use,thanks.

Hi,i try with carprog for read and write and is ok for writing i write c86 modified but when i try on car odometer show 999999ml bizare i don't know why i think than the bits not at good place,if someone can help,thanks in advance.

Hi,i resolved my problem i rewrite original bin file with diagprogIII and after i read with carprog but i saw than result it was not the same between carprog and diagprogIII after that i modified with tachosoft and rewrite to 93c86 and all is ok,thanks.
