View Full Version : Skybox F3 How Can I add a Transponder to the TP List

I'm trying to preserve all the work I initially put in to create my Channel List and Favourites Lists. So when a channel changes I go to TP List, find the Transponder/Frequency for the new version of the Channel, scan and then tweak my Channel List and Favourites list.
I've now hit a problem. A full satellite rescan shows Nick Jr Peppa as 12604/H/21999.
When I go to Menu/Installation/TP List 12604/H/21999 doesn't appear. It seems I can add it but only by spending 10 minutes scrolling the two numbers. Is there an easier way? And why, if a single satellite scan gives me this channel, doesn't my TP List already contain that transponder?
Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

1 Go to menu
2 Now to TP List
3 Press the green button on the remote to add
3 Type in 12604 (Frequency), 21999 (Symbol Rate) H (Polarity)
4 Click on save
5 Now press the blue Button on the remote
6 Click Ok
Any new channels will appear at the end of your list

I think your box has made a slight (insignificant) error in the symbol rate reading. Does your TP list show 12604 (or 12603) H 22000? A symbol rate of 22000 is the correct one for that transponder.

Thanks sattv5 and thanks Hadron.
Am I dumb or am I dumb? In Step 3 of the routine set out above by sattv5 I was scrolling left/right to increase/decrease the frequency/symbol rate, not realising I could just type in the numbers!
And yes, Hadron, my box must have made an error (hopefully just transient) in the reading - it definitely showed 12604/H/21999 but on rescanning it now shows that channel as 12604/H/21875 and this does appear in the default TP List.
So, I'm now back on track for just tweaking my faithful channels/favourites list rather than rebuilding it although I think just this once I will rebuild because either there've been a bunch of channel alterations recently (several of the news channels, BT Sport yet again etc, etc) or one of my many rescans recently has lost its way.
Once again many thanks.
