Is Al Jazeera News no longer available or changed frequency ? Dreambox is coming up with tuner failed today.

How do I update channels when possible? I've never done it before so would be keen to know how.

I've already tried auto and manual scans to get Al Jazeera, Euronews, BET and a few other channels that show the same message 'tuner failed.

My previous auto scan (8 days ago) came up with 966 services found, today's scan came up with 922 services found.

You will need to read this guide here: http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f210/dreamboxedit-guide-167275/ and alter for Enigma1

I have read that thread before but I thought that it was explaining how to remove unwanted channels and keep the channels in your particular regions eg: BBC 1 LONDON.

I've noticed after doing a auto scan that I'm now only receiving 922 services now as opposed to the 966 services I received 8 days ago.

The dreambox edit guide will also tell you how to load other peoples pre-made channel lists which will save you the time of doing a scan

I've read that guide and it could be me here but I'm unable to locate any discussion on how to amend a channel which was once working (al jazerra). I know how to cut & paste from one bouquet to the next but if the channels on the updated bouquet are also not working is there a way I can update my own channels by updating channel settings or something instead of waiting for a working update to come out?

If your in the UK do you have Al Jazeera working in your bouquet?

Sam thanks for that m8. Where did you get that info from just out of interest so I can update some more channels where the frequency has changed and do I simply update this info using DBE by the editing transponder date for the al jazeera channel?

you could always have a look here: Search Results for - KingOfSat (http://en.kingofsat.net/find.php?question=al+jazeera+english&Submit=Zap)

lol, that's exactly what I was looking at digicon but I still can't see how/where to enter new data and the method to use. The Al-Jazeera channel was updated on that site on the 2013-10-08 but I don't know what info I need to use. Most of the data appears to be the same which is showing in DBE apart from the H: 12422.00 so will try this data update in dbe in 30min once in front of my box.

How/Where do I input the data, is it directly through the sat box settings or using DBE? What settings?

Best thing to do is to do a full scan of 28.2.Once done, just look for any missing channel in your bouquets and note them down. When channels are being displayed on your TV. Go to satellites (green button) go to 28.2 services.......look for Aljazeerah.highlight it...press menu button..go to add services to bouquets and press ok...this will take you to fav bouquets...scroll down to news and press OK.....this will save it in your fav bouquets.......Again do the same for any other missing channels, till all of the working ones have been transferred to your favs....Thats how you do do it. Have a go now

Not always i think you will find that Lyngsat and Flysat get updated with the information quicker, at the end of the day all 3 sites rely on Sat enthusiasts input to keep them up to date
