Help cloning this ecu. Is not enough just swapping IC's from the original to the new ecu. There is something else that need to be done to every individual file. Transferring coding strings and keys is where I'm stuck. I'm just start working with ecu's.... need a lot of help. .

it may ahve eeprom in eeprom of rolling code, swap flash and eeprom...and good to go

What it's the flash mask id?

it s MB58bw016...it s the only flash in the ECu,

It's no probem make read all data and write to new ecu. Thats one don't have any better protection like OTP sectors.
Easy to make full backup and clone.

I tried to clone a 2008 Mercedes Benz E350 4matic ECU with a used one with matching numbers using Ktag. No luck the key fob wouldn't even engage the starter. Did a complete backup and rewrite of the Micro, EXTFLASH, EEPROM. No luck!

With Ori ECU cars starts normally...?
