some Tips on Range Rover Supercharge 2008

i have this key fob original which the customer says it stopped working suddenly so he thought the battery went dead and he started using the spare key that was about 4 months ago and now he comes to me and i check the battery of the Remote it was dead below 3v , so i changed the battery and checked the freqency and transponder all ok , i went to the car to check it , the remote doesnt work , i tried to run the car and the car doesnt run as well ( when the customer told me that it stoped on its own 4 months ago) after they have changed the fuse box but worked for 2 weeks and stopped.
did the key lost sync with the car ? can this happen on that type to Range ? if i program it by MVP will this work since its a used key ( though for this car ) the transponder and frequency on the remote all showing a normal working key , what might cause this problem and the car is working well on the other spare key.
any tips i would appreciate it

2008 supercharge will have a BMW ews system, can't do by mvppro.

2008 is not bmw Ews , can be done by jlr sdd or autologic and yes sometimes lose synchro

When did vogue supercharge change to ford system?

I thought it was August 2005 Septrmber 2009 used the ews style of immo.

It's not an ews 3 or 4 but very similar in style.

Range rover models such as vogue, HSE has Bmw ews system

However range rover supercharged has ford and jaguar system in it.

Mario, why cant u reprogram the keys again. I have heard that maxidas can do on this model

I have done a vogue supercharged with the ews style of immo. Still had hu92 blade. Was a 2007 model.

We have tested with Autologic and work well.
The last week the AD have added the sw for LR, but we don't tested it.

supercharge is not a EWS system , i ve solved the problem with MVP and programmed both keys and now it works again .

Well its quite simple to identity the immo system.. If the ignition cylinder is next to gear lever, then it has ews immo

If it is on steering column like most cars, then jaguar immo system

Mario where was the location of ignition cylinder in ur car? Also did u try on maxidas

next to steeing , i didnt use the maxidas cause the customer was on super hurry when he returned to me and i had 5 minutes to do everything so i chose the quickest tool MVP :)
