Hi !
Working on 2008 Volvo VN670 Volvo D12 shutdown problem!
Truck was was wrecked and rebuild original wiring was installed when cab replaced
some wiring was damaged and repaired i had done active work in replacing cab and fixing electrical side,some water got in to dash but was not at point to contact the dash circuit board the other modules was dry and unefected
All problems got resolved but 1!
When ignition on -------after 5 min something will turn off power -(dash,off ,radio off,just like you turn ignition off)
When truck idling-------same 5 min then everything shuts down
Tried hold accelerator---same 5 min then everything shuts down
Push brake pedal-------same 5 min then everything shuts down
The only time it is running without shutdown pass 5 min -if truck is moving!
Not able to raise rpm with cruise switch-but cruise working when driving.
Checked switches ,like clutch,brake,parking,accelerator-all check out ok!
Have tried to check with vcads parameters
in parameters it is marked that idle shot down disabled!
found also theft that mentions 5 min -but it is also disabled
was looking anything about power but not founded
it seams to be not idle shutdown but something that is turning power off
Any body have any idea what is may be cause of this behavior
