cheapest way to book hotel rooms?

whats the cheapedst way to book hotel rooms?

i've got some good cheap flights up ?550 for me, the wife and two kids, but the rooms are coming up at ?500 minimum for a week, tried the likes lowcostbeds, travel republic etc.....oh and its for majorca

I have used hotelclub.net for the last 10 years mate with great success, now it depends on your destination but they can be very cheap at times.. I did use them for a weekend in Palma last year our nice hotel was very cheap., we were chuffed to bits...

we used travel republic for our girls holiday in tenerife next week. however i have booked flights with globespan and accommodation with thomsons web site and got a bargain. so maybe try thomsons accommodation only?
