Hi All,
Busy sorting out all my transponder chips.
Can someone advise how to unlock 7936 chips (46 Crypto II). Is it reusable?

Can you explian what is the crypto key.
I've got original z-bull and tango.
How do I get crypto key?

You may reuse the chip only if you know which vehicle and model the chip belong to.
For example, if that chip used to start a Honda car, you may reuse it by adding key to dump or via obd2.

it is crypto hi and lo otherwise a password without it you can only read its id some are otp depending on the value in the tcmf page this determins what mode, and what language it uses manchester or byphase, crypto or cypher if the chip has been programmed into a dump you should be able to unlock it because the crypto key or password is in there if it is from another car just throw it in the bin for ?2 i dont really get wastage and i do between 4 and 6 cars a day

Agreed they are cheap enough to throw away, but being able to unlock the ones where they contain data married to a remote = big savings, Im pretty sure that its an algo of the pin code but thats as far as Ive got on this subject.
