can a damaged ecu be swapped for a second hand one off another car? whats involved? any advice would be great.

i may be able to immo off this ecu if you need.

use ktag or similar boot tool and its easy. backup old ecu, restore to new ecu.

Guess not so easy.

Either immo off or swap Tricore processor.

what ? I just told you how to do it. get a ktag or other tricore boot tool, connect to it, back up full ecu.

then do the reverse order on donor ecu but restore your backup. ive done the cp06 ecu in 15 minutes. its very easy.

why would you immo off ? if you go to the trouble of reading the ecu you could easily just clone it.

if I sent you the two ecus how much would you want to sort it for me, or could you give me the info on how to do it, ive a kess v2 with ktag protocol active, I just haven't used the ktag yet, if it was done would the immo be as original? I thought they were one time program? could you gimme ur number in pm?
