2003 Toyota Land Cruiser stuck in 1st gear 89160-6A261

Hi, customer just bought in ecu and says that when you put the auto in drive it is stuck in 1st gear. it wont change gears. what do i need to reprogram to get this ecu working again. he has another ecu from a friend where we can get the data from. i have read the data from l56r and 93c86 eeprom but i am pretty sure its not from there.does anyone know ?
