Problems after adjusting milage on Vito 2010 with AVDI

Red (Brake!) lamp constant on ESP on off not displaying. Daytime driving lights not working. Can not get contact With instrument in diagnosis anymore.


Did not save eeprom before adjusting, but have adjusted twice and saved after.



Can anyone see what AVDI can have done wrong?

or anyone have a good dump to compare with?

Remove battery cable for 10 min and see if will help.If no make a good scan with MB star diagnose to see what is the fault.

Cant get contact with instrument via diagnosis either. Only have AVDI. Almost same thing happened last time i adjusted a vito, but on that one ESP lamp was constant on even no fault code and all working. So just took out diode in display.

same here on a Viano 2010..

Lucky I saved original ..will take dash off and write eprom of circuit.

Hopefully will sort it..

Be careful on Mercedes Vito/Sprinter and VW Crafter... think avdi have a bug for it

Send log file your distributer and maybe AVDI team can "cut" from Log file , original eeprom which you read with commander .

Only if you have problem, and Abrites can turn ON logs again.
By default, logs are switched off now, for security reasons.

Yes, they replied that they should send software with log activated but isnt that a bit to late for a log now? should have logged when this happened. Also driving lights not working and no connection with instrument on diag. Cant read or write instrument in custom memory download. Only access is under cluster calibration

You shouldnt be doing this work if you dont have star!

You could have put another dump into the dash and learn with star.

is it kms or miles?

You could try a dump with zero in it, then get your friend with star or DP3 to learn dash.

post dash part no....might have something to match..

Sorted mine yesterday...just wrote ori file back on the bench and all good so damage is within the 24LC640 only..

PM me you VIN and I'll try do a recovery file for ya..

download file on to desk top ...takes 15>20 second on my pc.
uzip winrar ..
folder named dash will be extracted...
inside you will find 640bin file with pic of s/w h/w of dash it came from which match yours.......

I had the same issue while writing with avdi you changed coding in instrument cluster you need to scn kombi.

here is one with same s/w h/w........This dump works perfect, but it is in miles not kilometers. Is there a easy way to change in dump?

Went in to set milage with avdi on the working file for a test. Did no changes just set mileage(same mileage). Saved eeprom before and after so you can compare what avdi does to the file. It changed back to kilometers but all the other faults came back. Changes a lot in eprom..

What about this problem ? Better it s to do dash separatly on table or i can do dash with avdi without problem. I ask you because i will work today on vito 2010

avdi support ask they will correct this bug on new commander version next week. i do job manually. dash and bsi.
